Briefings and Microsoft Teams

superglue keeps working between your decisions. Your briefing tells you what needs you, and the Microsoft Teams app lets you answer without opening superglue.

The briefing is a short list of next steps: approvals, decisions and replies that wait for you. superglue builds it from your connected email, chat and meeting notes and from your project tasks.

  • It runs on weekdays or once a week, at the time you choose. The default is weekdays between 8 and 9 in the morning, in your timezone.
  • On the Enterprise plan, it is on by default once you connect your first source in Brain > Setup. On other plans, turn it on in the briefing step.
  • Each next step has Start, which runs the prepared work, and Mark done. You can add a note before you start a step.
  • In Microsoft Teams, when you added superglue to Teams.
  • By email, when you did not.
  • On the home screen under Next steps, in both cases.

Use the briefing step in Brain > Setup, or ask the agent, for example:

Send my briefing on Mondays at 8:30, and leave out tasks that wait on the client.

The agent can change the days, the time, the timezone and the instructions for the briefing.

In Teams, superglue works like a colleague. You write to it in plain sentences, and it answers in the chat or thread where you asked.

  1. Open Brain > Setup and go to Add superglue to Microsoft Teams.
  2. Click Open in Teams.
  3. Message superglue in Teams and click Connect.

If your organization does not have the superglue app yet, a Teams administrator uploads the app package once. Download app package in the same step gives you the file.

  • Ask for anything you would ask in the web app, and send files to the chat.
  • Results come back as messages, artifacts and files.
  • Permission requests and system sign-ins arrive as Teams cards, so you can approve a write without opening superglue.
  • When a session waits for you and you do not have superglue open, you get a Teams card.

Mention superglue in a project channel and choose the project. superglue then answers questions in that channel with the project’s context.

superglue posts one project update to the channel when tasks changed: at 9:00 on weekdays, on Mondays, or never. You choose the frequency when you link the channel.

Most of the time you write in plain sentences. A few words have a fixed meaning:

Word What it does
stop Stops the current run.
new conversation Starts a new conversation with superglue.
change project Links the channel to a different project.
connect Connects your superglue account to Teams.
disconnect Disconnects your superglue account from Teams.
